From September 2009 to June 2010 Harry Barkema hosted a class at the LSE on Business Model Innovation at the Base of the Pyramid. 30 Master students from different disciplines such as finance, development studies, urban studies and management, all with practical experience in the field of social entrepreneurship, came together to explore and discuss success factors of business models in emerging economies.
